2018 iTOYA Prize Giving
We have just awarded the 2018 ICT Teacher of the Year Award (iTOYA) Winners in the just concluded 43rd Kenya Secondary School Heads Association Annual General Meeting. The 2018 iTOYA Prize Giving was held on Friday 22nd June 2018 at Wild Waters in Mombasa County. In attendance were Government of Kenya Officials, eKitabu partners and sponsors, publishers, teachers, and invited guests.
The 2018 iTOYA winners are:
Maxwell Khayesi, Grand Prize Winner from Karuri Secondary School in Kiambu County. Maxwell won 100,000 Kshs, a laptop, trophies, certificate and a gift hamper.
The 1st Runner-Up was Damaris Mwende from Mbooni Boys High School in Makueni County. Damaris won 70,000 Kshs, a laptop, trophies, certificate and a gift hamper.
The 2nd Runner-Up was Bongu Machel Fred from Coast Girls High School in Mombasa County. Machel won 50,000 Kshs, a laptop, trophies, certificate and a gift hamper.
The other finalists were Bernard Amollo from St. Pius Got Matar High School in Siaya County, Jane Francisca Sakwa from Pangani Girls’ High in Nairobi County, Julius Karimi from Thome Secondary School in Laikipia County, Ali Billow Mahat from Wajir Girls’ High in Wajir County and Josphat Sifuna from Friends School-Kamusinga in Bungoma County. They all won a laptop, trophies, certificate and gift hamper.
