UON Library staff train on access to eKitabu digital collection
On Thursday 17th November, Library staff from Jomo Kenyatta Library, College of Health Sciences and School of Law attended training on eKitabu digital collection at the Library Boardroom.
eKitabu is a digital content distributor. The company operates in Kenya and also in United States of America.
eKitabu has partnered with University of Nairobi to do a pilot for digital content in the library. The trial period will take three months. In the course of the three months; eKitabu in collaboration with the library team will collect data in order to monitor utilization of content.
The content has been in installed in some computers in Jomo Kenyatta, College of Health Sciences and school of Law. This is because the eKitabu content on trial mainly covers the disciplines in the mentioned colleges/schools.
